Principal Investigator

    I was born and raised in Uruguay, where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2008 and my Master of Science in Animal Sciences in 2011 from Universidad de la República. I then pursued my Ph.D. in Dairy Science at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, completing it in 2014. In 2015, I began my independent career as a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Mammary Gland Physiology at the University of Florida. In 2020, I joined the Department of Animal and Dairy Sciences at UW-Madison, where I currently serve as an Associate Professor of Lactation Physiology.
